Despite the trend on the global dairy market, butter prices in Ukraine remain stable. This is quite predictable, because production of this product is at the peak of the season now. – INFAGRO
The “big milk” season gave impulse to rapid growth of butter production. At the same time, exports is a big problem due to low prices. – INFAGRO
The situation in the market of butter is rather uncertain. In the world market prices of butter are falling, so, export prices are low. – INFAGRO
This year exports of dairy products have markedly decreased. – INFAGRO
Ukrainian manufacturers of SMP are no longer eager to sell the powder even for 1900 USD/t, although not so far ago they sold it even for as low as 1800 USD/t. Whole milk powder is also sold well. – INFAGRO
In February there was no clear price trend in the market of butter in Ukraine. – INFAGRO
It is still too early to sum up the year for production of dairy products as there is not all the data available, but we can confidently note the growth trend in production of fresh dairy products and cheeses. – INFAGRO
