The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) said in 2020, 125,000 tons of raw cow’s milk in the higher and extra categories were sold through the exchange.
Belarusian dairy producers have found their way into the Japanese retail chain Nissin World Delicatessen, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Japan.
In January-June, Belarus sold $ 1.1 billion worth of dairy products abroad. This figure was named by the head of the main department of foreign economic activity of the Ministry of Agriculture, Alexei Bogdanov.
Alexey Bogdanov, Head of Department of Foreign Economic Activity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, mentioned this figure speaking on how much less dairy products Belarus had not supplied because of theclimitations of the Rosselkhoznadzor in comparison with the agreed balances.
The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the Belarusian government should clarify the situation with restrictions on supply of Belarusian products to Russia and report back the next week.
