For cheese producers, the situation on the cheese market is becoming more complicated. In February, the main concern was the cease of the export schemes of cheese products by Belarus. – INFAGRO
In the market of real cheeses, the situation is relatively stable, while producers of cheese products are experiencing difficulties due to the ban of import schemes for this product introduced by Belarus. – INFAGRO
Ukrainian cheese makers, especially those producing cheese products have the reason to worry. The schemes for exporting cheese products are collapsing and selling the products by another schemes is unprofitable because of the very low price. – INFAGRO
The Ukrainian cheese-makers have not yet fully evaluated the pre-Christmas sales, but it looks like they had expected a better result. – INFAGRO
Ukrainian cheese producers are not expecting growths of cheese exports. Most of cheese makers count only on the domestic sales and hope that during the holidays their stocks will be successfully sold. – INFAGRO
The trade restrictions imposed by Belarus in early April have affected Ukrainian cheese product trade and forced many Ukrainian cheese exporters to work out new trade schemes. At the same time it contributed to some stabilization in cheese making industry. – INFAGRO
Despite the relatively weak demand, in August Ukrainian cheese producers intensified their activity. While raw milk prices have not increased much, they are filling warehouses. But even large stocks do not prevent the cheese producers to raise prices. – INFAGRO
