Belarus has delivered 160 thousand tons less of dairy products to Russia

Alexey Bogdanov, Head of Department of Foreign Economic Activity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, mentioned this  figure speaking on how much less dairy products  Belarus had not supplied because of theclimitations of the Rosselkhoznadzor in comparison with the agreed balances.

During the first quarter of this year, Belarus could not fulfill supplying to Russian market just 162 thousand tons of milk and dairy products.

Bogdanov noted that with respect to meat deliveries, in January-March Belarus supplied 69 thousand tons of meat products to Russia, however, with such a dynamic, the balance indicators would not be fulfilled in the future.

The issue of mutual deliveries will once again be discussed at a meeting of the joint Board of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, which will be held on May 15.

However, the issue will not be finally resolved; the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor will not be present at the Board meeting.
