It is still too early to sum up the year for production of dairy products as there is not all the data available, but we can confidently note the growth trend in production of fresh dairy products and cheeses. – INFAGRO
There is no significant growth of dairy exports. Export prices remain low and sales of many dairy products are falling both because of unattractive prices and because of a seasonql decrease of dairy production. – INFAGRO

The global trend of decrease in butter price has not changed. For this reason, importers are in no hurry to purchase butter of Ukraine’s produce, so prices are sinking.- INFAGRO
In 2016 Ukraine began using quotas for duty-free export of dairy products exporting dairy cream products (24.4% of quota used). Ukraine has also begun to export dried milk (30%) and butter (46%).
Butter is already sold at the price higher than that of cheese. This does not correspond to any logic – INFAGRO.
On the 8th of September at the auction held on the electronic commodity exchange platform “Ekaterinoslavskaya» the JSC company “Bobrovyts’ky dairy” was sold.
In mid-summer the price of butter was growing unexpectedly fast in Ukraine. In the last two weeks it has risen by 15% – INFAGRO.
