Ukrainian Whey powder export looks profitable as for today

Demand for fresh milk products does not grow in Ukraine. Ukrainians even began to buy less of processed milk. It confirms once again a stable decrease of purchasing power in the country.
Though mass rise of prices is not present, but they gradually grow.
In structure of dairy export the share of condensed milk became the biggest.
Declined purchasing capacity does not prevent stable increase of prices for fresh milk products. Every month almost all operators increase the prices for basic assortment by 3-5%.
Taking into account prompt increase of prices for hard cheeses, consumer demand was essentially weakened in October.
Despite Russian ban on import, there are no big surpluses of milk on Ukrainian market. The situation is rescued by seasonal reduction of production.
In conditions of total trading ban of Russia and price decline on the world dairy market, only seasonal reduction of milk production”rescues” the Ukrainian operators.
Butter stocks of Ukraine operators proved to be not so big.
There are almost no changes on whey powder market in October. Western traders and importers from the Post-Soviet countries do not change price policy and do not indulge by big volume contracts.
