Ukrainian cheese market shows certain stability, but, unfortunately, one cannot say that this is a good stability. – INFAGRO
In June, the raw milk market in Ukraine got balanced: prices for farmers’ raw milk ceased to decline. Prices for milk purchased from rural households were revised only at the beginning of the month. – INFAGRO
The prohibition concerns dairy raw materials, including those in consumer packs exceeding 2.5 liters.
Ukrainian cheese makers, especially those producing cheese products have the reason to worry. The schemes for exporting cheese products are collapsing and selling the products by another schemes is unprofitable because of the very low price. – INFAGRO
In May Ukrainian producers of fresh dairy products increased sales keeping high prices. Some of them took advantage of the increased demand and managed to raise prices. – INFAGRO
According to the State Service of Statistics of Ukraine for 4 months of the current year milk production in Ukraine amounted to 2.8 million tons, which is 1.1% less than in the same period of 2017. – INFAGRO
The share of Russia in the total volume of exports of Belarusian dairy products is gradually decreasing, the supplies are diversified to the market of CIS countries and far abroad, Head of Department for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Bogdanov said on Wednesday in Minsk.
Andrey Danilenko, Board Chairman of the National Union of Milk Producers “Soyuzmoloko” during the press conference on the development of Russian dairy, provided his view on the current state of the dairy market in the country.
On the eve of Easter consumption of fresh dairy products in many regions of Ukraine has decreased. At the same time it is unrealistic to sell its surplus for export, as it happens in other categories of dairy products. – INFAGRO
