Ukraine: Less raw milk – less dairy products

In Ukraine milk supply to dairies this year has shrunk 8%. Production of dairy products is also decreasing. – INFAGRO

However, the decline does not occur in all categories of dairy products. For example, fresh dairy producers in three quarters were even able to increase output by 1%. Production of most types of dry milk products did not decrease during this period either. That is, the decrease occured only in the category of cheeses and cheese products paired with butter. But there is no shortage of these goods thanks to the efforts of the European manufacturers who rush with their produce to Ukrainian market.

As for the current situation, there is a natural seasonal decline in production of all powdered milk products and butter. In the near future, we can also expect a reduction in production of cheese and even fresh dairy products.
