In May the sales of fresh milk product grew the first time for a long period. The growth was very slight, after all, buying attitude did not increase. 

And producers did not reduce the prices, despite decrease of milk prices. Moreover, a number of operators continue to increase them.

In the end of May wholesale prices are at: 2.5% milk in cheap pouches at UAH 8.5-9.3/l, 2.5% kefir – at UAH 10.5-12.0/l, sour cream (15%) – at UAH 22-27/kg, curd (9%) – at UAH 46-55/kg.

Many participants of the market say that Ukrainians began to buy more fresh milk products in May. We will see whether it is the truth in June, after analysis of production statistics.
