Situation is stable on Russian cheese market

Consumer demand is lowon Russian cheese market, but the prices are balanced by almost absolute ban on import of Ukrainian products, and partial restrictions for Polish and Baltic cheeses.

In the middle of July hard cheeses of Russian and Belarusian origin are valued at RUR 190-220/kg, and cheeses of well-known brands cost RUR 220-240/kg in large wholesale.

In July, European cheeses are offered at: RUR 215-222/kg – Gouda/Edam, RUR 225-235/kg – Tilsiter, RUR 240-250/kg – Maasdam.
