Forecasts on the redirection of milk from production of cheeses to butter and milk powder production came true only partially in 2015.
Production of butter and milk powder has even reduced. More successful than expected was export of cheeses (cheese products). The reasons were low prices of demand for milk powder, butter and casein.
Production decrease was observed in practically all dairy categories except for casein, processed cheese and some types of fresh milk products. In many of the categories the decrease made 8-10%.
