On February 17, 27 food associations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the draft laws developed to settle relations between trade networks and suppliers.
This event took place at a round table organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
Food producers’ associations have developed proposals that they consider important for resolving problematic practices in the food trade. Representatives of the associations hope that their proposals will be taken into account when considering bills pending in the Verkhovna Rada, the adoption of which has long been awaited by Ukrainian business.
The Dairy Union of Ukraine considers signing of the Memorandum an important step in uniting the efforts of food associations and appeals to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development to take into account the proposals agreed and offered for consideration by 27 associations.
