Belarus is going to rescue Russia in conditions of restrictions of deliveries from the EU, Ukraine and some other countries, or more exactly to become more dependent on Russia.

Officials already declared that the country is ready to make up a deficiency in any volume. For this purpose they will work day and night and will double production of dairy production, and so forth.

A week has passed since ban was imposed, and stocks of demanded products (cheeses, 82.5% butter, and whey powder) run low, and producers cannot supply sufficient volumes of new products.

Additionally there are problems with supply of the high-quality products, not to mention those niches, which Belarusians have not developed yet – protein and whey concentrates, milk fat and unique kinds of European cheeses. Even Turovskiy DP, new producer of elite cheeses, will not be able to supply even small part of Russian demand in this segment of the market.

It is clear that further growth of price will be observed on Belarusian market, especially for cheeses and whey powder. Therefore now there is a sense to work day and night.

At the same time Belarus in any way will not be able to compensate deliveries of 4 mio tonnes of dairy products in milk equivalent, which were annually delivered from the countries which are banned by Russia now. After all, production of milk does not grow in Belarus last two years.
