200 dairy experts from Ukraine (UA) and beyond gathered in Kyiv at the #dairybusiness2019 Congress of Dairy Union Ukraine and Infagro.
EDA secretary general Alexander Anton discussed the impact of the EU – UA Deep & Comprehensive Free Trade Area that is in application since 2016 with Ukrainian minister Inna Meteleva and the future EU – UA dairy relationship.
“The work of the European Commission services and the Ukrainian administration to speed up the process of alignment in terms of food safety and food quality rules is highly appreciated. This future alignment is for sure key for the further development of the Ukrainian dairy sector. Another one is the assurance of a competitive milk basis. These ambitions are shared by both partners”, concluded Alexander Anton.
