Despite growth of production, the prices do not fall anymore. Hopes on increase of demand and prices from importers and promises of purchases by Agrarian Fund are the reasons.

There are two levels of prices for SMP on the market. Companies which have access to the markets of Customs Union or which guarantee high quality offer the product at UAH 39000-41000/t. Prices for standard milk are at UAH 36000-38000/t.

It is the most favorably to export SMP to Russia. It is paid USD 3700-3900/t for it there. The product is sold at USD 3100-3400/t to CIS countries out of Customs Union. Western traders value the products at USD 2800-3100/t FCA depending on quantity, quality and country of destination.
