Tendencies were not changed on the market of butter. There are problems with external sales.

Stocks are increasing. It is not possible to increase prices in such situation.

72.5% butter is basically sold at UAH 41000-43000/t on domestic market.

Export to the Customs Union is almost closed. It means that it will not be possible to sell butter at the prices higher USD 4000/t any more. Now they have to be satisfied with small deliveries out of the Customs Union at USD 3200-3400/t.

According to State Statistics Committee, in June the production of butter increased by 6% to 12.9 ths t. Production grew by a third to 55.6 ths t for the first half of the year. At the same time real volume (without butter, which was double reported by producers and re-packers) was hardly higher than 45 ths t.

Stocks of the products are rather big, not less than 10 ths t. So, there are no reasons to expect essential growth of the prices soon.
