Production of butter is essentially increased in Ukraine, because of seasonal factors and restriction of cheese import by Russia. 

Supply does not correspond to current and even to long-term demand. Therefore the prices remain low.

Now prices for 72.5% butter remain at UAH 37.5-39.5/kg only because the Agrarian Fund promises to buy 3 ths t of the products at UAH 40/kg one of these days.
