XVII All-Ukrainian Conference with International Participation

Dear colleagues, regular and potential delegates of the DAIRY BUSINESS conference!

For the 17th year in a row and the fourth since the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, we plan to organize the DAIRY BUSINESS conference in the fall of 2025, where representatives of dairy enterprises, companies and organizations supplying milk processors with technologies, equipment and ingredients, Ukrainian and foreign experts, as well as government representatives traditionally meet.

The purpose of the event is to find ways to solve the dairy industry’s many old and new problems. This task requires new approaches, taking into account the country’s war and global geopolitical and economic changes.

The problems caused by the war, and not only, require urgent solutions now. They need to be clearly outlined, and efforts must be combined for effective action.

Of course, the war will end sooner or later with Ukraine’s Victory. Therefore, a clear understanding of the vectors of further development of the dairy industry during the country’s accession to the EU and after gaining full membership in the community is now needed.

At the conference, we will talk about the following:

• The state of the dairy industry in the fourth year of the war. How was it possible to maintain production and strengthen trade ties, and what are the nearest prospects
• What prevents the regulation of relations between producers, processors and trade
•  Will Ukrainian dairy farmers finally be able to switch to long-term milk purchase contracts
• European integration of the Ukrainian dairy industry: challenges, benefits and threats. Partners and opponents in the EU
• Investments during wartime – who is at risk and who is developing, what opportunities exist for modernising production and strengthening the stability of companies
• Attracting financing for the modernisation of enterprises. Successful non-standard approaches
• Trends in the domestic dairy market: what to produce, how to sell, what changes have occurred in the preferences of the wartime consumer
• The world dairy market. How to navigate market changes for Ukrainian exporters
• Imported dairy products on the Ukrainian market – a threat or an incentive for innovation
• Diversification of dairy exports – difficult but necessary work. The impact of politics on international trade

The DAIRY BUSINESS conference will discuss this and more. In addition, this event is a long-standing tradition of an annual meeting of dairy farmers for useful and pleasant communication.
