Official statistics on Belarusian foreign trade in the first quarter was published.

Export of butter and SMP was considerably reduced in comparison with the same period of last year.

Expected progress in sales of fresh milk products and cheeses did not occur either. In January – March 2014 the country exported 23.4 ths tonnes of hard and semi-hard cheeses (22.9 ths t of which – to Russia), 12.3 ths t of butter (11.5 ths t – to Russia), 19.7 ths t of SMP (18.5 ths t).
