Ukrainian cheese producers are not expecting growths of cheese exports. Most of cheese makers count only on the domestic sales and hope that during the holidays their stocks will be successfully sold. – INFAGRO
Encouraged by the wave of the pre-holiday optimism, many of cheese producers have raised prices by 5%.
The pices of “Rossiysky” and “Hollandsky” cheeses are now mostly in the range of 155-170 UAH/kg, but big distributors can buy them at 135-150 UAH/kg. On the eve of the holidays in supermarkets these cheses will often be offered at 200 USD / kg.
Cheese exports prices are still in the range of 4100-4500 USD/t.
As for the cheese products, the decline of demand prices and growth of production costs lead to reduction of exports of these products.
